Justin Chapple, Culinary Editor at large of Food & Wine magazine, is coming back to HGS Home Chef to share his expertise with the folks who live here in the Hudson Valley and Berkshires. You may have seen Justin share his special take on great food on the TODAY Show or any number of big-city media outlets, because, you see, he not only knows food, he somehow got an extra helping when they were passing out CHARM.
Perhaps you’ve seen his latest cookbook called Just Cook It! We particularly admire how he demystifies cooking, making it possible for anyone to follow his lead to create delicious, beautiful and yet wonderfully simple dishes (some of which are on his website).
On May 11, 2019 he’s teaching a class called Harnessing the Power of Fresh Herbs, just in time for summer herb planting. This class is part of an entire series of spring events, including an open garden day and plant sale at Margaret Roach’s garden in nearby Copake Falls, plus flower workshops next door at Tiny Hearts Farm and loads of other garden/flowers/food events to celebrate the season.
