Whether it’s humble yet perfect oatmeal cookies, festively decorated butter cookies, deeply flavored maple-rye cookies, or elegant, spiced tuiles, nothing feels cozier on a winter afternoon than a warm drink with a sweet, little, chewy, crunchy, something, shared with friends.

This special class mixes holiday classics with new recipes using interesting grains to create sweets as beautiful as they are delicious — perfect not only for your cookie jar, but to give away as gifts. Join us and let’s stock those cookie tins!

Jill is a co-founder of Berkshire Food Guild, and former baker at Cross Roads Food Shop in Hillsdale, NY. Baking breads and pastries dovetails with her husband’s work growing grains at Hawthorne Valley Farm. A baker by chance (and delight), Jill has apprenticed and worked on diversified organic and biodynamic farms in Maine and Oregon.
