Dessert should be a treat for the tastebuds as well as the eye, and these classics deliver on both counts. Chef Lou Jones will demonstrate how to make butter puff pastry and bake it perfectly for Mille Feuille (Napoleon). Then he’ll assemble this iconic dessert.
He’ll then move on to custard cookery and the little-known Crème Moulée. The texture of this custard is more sublime than Crème Caramel. It’s heaven on a plate! This ultra-smooth custard will be paired with piquant, ginger-infused rhubarb compôte and crisp ginger tuile cookies. This cooking class will culminate in a tasting.
This demonstration class is limited to 10 people.
